Our Advanced Mask Technology Center Dresden is a joint venture between Toppan Photomask and Globalfoundries. Toppan Photomasks Germany GmbH and the Advanced Mask Technology Center GmbH & Co. KG jointly develop and produce lithographic photomasks by using the most advanced production systems in the industry.

Having started at 90nm, over the years we have developed technologies for the 45nm, 32/28nm, 22/20nm and down to sub-10nm technology cycles. Today, our two companies are the largest and most advanced mask factory in Europe. A photomask is a glass plate with a light-shielding film on which ultra-fine circuit patterns are formed and used to produce patterns of complex semiconductor circuits on silicon wafers. In addition to photomasks for a very wide range of semiconductors, we develop and manufacture glass masks for various research & development applications, silicon stencil masks, moulds for nanoimprinting, MEMS, photonics, etc.
