“We are both a show venue and an event location,” managing director Tom Ernst explains. “For instance, we host a myriad of award ceremonies, including the ‘Politik Award’, the ‘Synchronpreis’, and the German Pop Culture Award.” The location is also highly sought after for corporate events, parliamentary evenings from nationwide associations, and refreshing summer receptions. Just a two-minute walk from the Chancellor’s Office, guests can immerse themselves in the magical world of the tipi – which also convinced former Chancellor Angela Merkel to hold her Christmas parties here for 16 years. “Our guests are captivated by the unique atmosphere,” Tom Ernst adds. “The interior of the tent, decked out with velvet and red carpets, offers an unparalleled experience.”

With a capacity to accommodate up to 2,000 guests in the outdoor area and 600 indoors, the tipi is ideal for both large and smaller events, starting from 200 attendees. Its central location in the government district and the extensive outdoor area provide perfect conditions for any weather. “Everything under one roof – that’s our trade- mark,” Tom Ernst emphasises. “We have our own kitchen on-site, which is extremely convenient for clients as all special requests can be accommodated easily and without extra costs.” For all aspects of an event, whether it’s decoration, stage programming, lighting technology, catering or additional equipment, the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT offers a consistent point of contact. Darunter sind der Politik Award, der Synchronpreis oder auch der Deutsche Preis für Popkultur.“ Die Location ist außerdem ein begehrter Ort für Firmenevents, parlamentarische Abende von deutschlandweit agierenden Verbänden und für erfrischende Sommerempfänge. In nerhalb von nur zwei Gehminuten kann man vom Kanzleramt aus in die magische Welt des Tipis eintauchen – was übrigens auch Altkanzlerin Angela Merkel überzeugte, die hier 16 Jahre lang ihre Weihnachtsfeier ab hielt. „Unsere Gäste sind fasziniert von der einzigartigen Atmosphäre”, so Tom Ernst. „Das Zelt von innen, ausgestattet mit Samt und roten Teppichen, bietet ein unvergleich liches Erlebnis.”

Mit einer Kapazität von bis zu 2.000 Gästen im Außenbereich und 600 im Innenbereich ist das Tipi ideal für große wie auch kleinere Ver anstaltungen ab 200 Personen. Die zentrale Lage im Regierungsviertel und der großzü gige Outdoorbereich bieten perfekte Bedingungen für jedes Wetter.
