Thinking of Drinking Differently this Dry January?
BY IRIS ELLMANN
The WineBarn would like to introduce four of their favourite German wines from Weingut Allendorf, including two alcohol-free dry Rieslings and two sparkling dry Rieslings.
The Allendorf family has been living in the beautiful Rheingau region since the 13th century. The largest family-run wine estate in the Winkel, Rüdesheim and Assmannshausen area, their vineyards span over 75-hectares.
Committed to producing the best possible wines from the estate’s excellent sites, the team meticulously tend to the vines and soil there. The grapes are then carefully pressed. In the cellar, the must is fermented using as little machinery and pumps as possible.
For the Allendorf family, working in the heart of their home territory is both a huge gift and a true obligation.
