Discover, experience and feel the space!

A rchitecture can captivate through simplicity and clarity – especially if the spectator and user gets the feeling of wanting ’this solution and no other’. For architect Marie-Theres Süßner, everything involves the space and its prevailing mood, no matter if it concerns urban development, building construction, outer or inner spaces.

People are constantly surrounded by different spaces: nature, places, streets and cities are always connected with emotions. The best architecture recognises this and harmoniously integrates into the existing space. Every building task has a complex scope. How rooms interact with each other, their surroundings and people is an interesting question and challenge for architects.

Marie-Theres Süßner puts her main focus on living in the countryside. “It is, of course, nice to build a family home, to know future users and fulfil their wishes and needs,” the architect says. Above that, she looks for optimal solutions for cohabiting in condensed spaces: simple, with clear structures and befitting the space and people. Especially in times when people think about more sustainable ways of living, the revitalising of existing buildings and structures is an important aspect. Here, it has to be considered that people always need a space where they can gain new energy and recover. ‘Cosiness, spaciousness in small spaces, individuality’ are keywords that have been achieved with the Loft 393.
