Restaurant top air
For 24 years now the restaurant top air is holding a Michelin star for its outstanding dishes. In November 2015, the team around head chef Marco Akuzun defended their success, making their restaurant the only star-honoured restaurant at a European airport – again.
Thirty-four-year-old Marco Akuzun, a rising star among chefs, was awarded his first Michelin star two years ago and defended it last year and this year again.“Of course we did our best, because that is something we always do,”he says.“We do not bear a star in mind, but always our guests. No matter if they are passengers, business people or those who simply enjoy good food.” And great wines: for 20 years now sommelier and restaurant manager Ralf Pinzenscham helps guests to make the right choice.
