Lanius-Knab Winery

In the heart of the idyllic Rhine Gorge world heritage site, viniculture has been a tradition for 2000 years. Here the lush vineyards of the Lanius-Knab winery can be found producing premium wines such as Riesling and Pinot Noir. Since Joerg Lanius took over the 200-year-old family winery in 1991, it has not only increased in size, but also gained an excellent reputation. Having worked in Tuscany, South Africa and New Zealand, Lanius combines expertise with dedication. The gently sloping vineyards of Bernstein, Oelsberg and Goldemund are the pillars of the winery and Lanius treats them as such.
