ITV Denkendorf Produktservice GmbH combines top quality and great expertise with state-of-the-art technology. ISO 13485 certified, it is mostly textile-based medical implants that are being developed and produced here. Their manufacturing and development expertise ranges from molecule design to the almost finished medical product, which only needs to be packaged, sterilised and marketed by the client.

Hardly anyone thinks of textile structures when it comes to implants, but luckily, ITVP Denkendorf makes it its main focus. Highly motivated and with a great deal of scientific know-how, the experts carry out contract development and the production of medical pre-products. Everything happens in more than 1,600 square metres of clean rooms of ISO class 8.

“Starting with the manufacturing of monomers and polymers, followed by extrusion and advanced drawing technologies for fibre production, we offer nearly all textile technologies such as weaving, knitting and braiding,” ITVP representative Dr. Sven Oberhoffner explains.

The product range includes absorbable polymers, monofilament and braided surgical sutures and textile implants such as meshes, vascular prostheses and stents. Development highlights are the self-fixing meshes and barbed sutures. The service spectrum is complemented by chemical, biological and physical testing laboratories, accredited according to ISO 17025.

Die ITV Denkendorf Produktservice GmbH vereint höchste Qualität und große Expertise mit modernster Technologie. ISO 13485 zertifiziert, werden hier größtenteils textilbasierte medizinische Implantate entwickelt und hergestellt. Dabei reicht die Fertigungs- und Entwicklungstiefe vom Molekül bis zum nahezu fertigen Medizinprodukt, das der Kunde nur noch verpacken, sterilisieren und auf den Markt bringen muss.

Kaum jemand denkt bei Implantaten an textile Strukturen. Die ITVP Denkendorf allerdings schon. Hochmotiviert und mit viel wissenschaftlichem Know-How führen die Experten neben der Produktion medizinischer Vorprodukte auch Auftragsentwicklung für ihre Kunden durch. Alles findet in über 1.600 Quadratmeter Reinräumen der ISO-Klasse 8 statt.

„Beginnend mit der Herstellung von Monomeren über die Polymerisation vereinen wir mit den nachfolgenden Extrusions-und ausgefeilten Verstrecktechnologien zur Faserherstellung auch alle wichtigen textilen Technologien wie zum Beispiel Weben, Wirken und Flechten unter einem Dach“, erklärt Dr. Sven Oberhoffner, Prokurist der ITVP.

Die Produktreihe beinhaltet unter anderem resorbierbare Polymere, monofile sowie geflochtene chirurgische Nahtmaterialien und textile Implantate wie Netze, Gefäßprothesen oder Stents. Entwicklungs-Highlights der ITVP
Denkendorf sind die selbstfixierenden Netze und selbstverankernde Widerhakenfäden (Barbed Sutures) zum knotenlosen Wundverschluss. Abgerundet wird das Leistungsspektrum durch das chemische, biologische und
physikalische Prüflabor, akkreditiert nach ISO 17025.
