The best preparation for a global career

T he programmes of the International School of Management (ISM) enable a successful career in management and economy. With its practical, international approach, students are prepared to rise to the needs of the real business world from day one. Whether as a first step or after years of experience – the ISM provides schemes for every situation in life.

During case studies, internships and a stay abroad, students acquire practical experience and deepen their foreign language skills – all within a short period of time. Outstanding teachings by renowned lecturers, many of whom have held management positions themselves, contribute to graduates’ later success. “The ISM stands out with practice-orientated, international studies in a personal atmosphere. This, in combination with excellent education, sets the ISM apart from other business schools in Germany,” ISM president Prof. Dr. Ingo Böckenholt explains. Mentoring programmes and different service departments, such as the career centre, help the students with orientation.

Individual full-time programmes

With nine undergraduate and fourteen graduate schemes, the ISM enables students to find the individual programme that suits them best. As part of the international approach, all schemes contain at least one semester abroad, for which students can choose from a network of 180 partner universities in Europe and overseas. An international double degree is optional for graduate students. During the full-time programmes, internships and participation in consultancy projects are an excellent preparation tool for getting into the real business world.
Studies and occupation in harmony

As studying needs to suit different situations in life, the ISM offers part-time programmes as well. The undergraduate schemes are held weekly on Friday evenings and Saturdays, and impart functional knowledge in business administration, statistics, accounting and economics. To become an expert in designing robust marketing strategies or to excel in the smart use of data, the master programmes which are held every Saturday are the best choice.

MBA

For instance, the Master of Business Administration degree creates an ideal basis for future leadership positions for those who have already gained work experience. In one and a half (full-time) or two years (part-time) students benefit from individual coaching, excellent lectures and an international network.

Sanela Hadic, a graduate of the ISM, concludes:

“In addition to its excellent reputation, the international approach of the MBA studies convinced me to study at the ISM. As an integral part, students acquire an authentic insight into the driving forces of a globalised economy.”

International. Individual. Inspiring.
