NürnbergConvention is the successful cooperation between the NürnbergMesse Group and the Nürnberg Congress and Tourism Centre. Together, these two event experts run the NürnbergConvention Bureau.

“One of the goals of this cooperation is to offer clients the easiest, most straight-forward event organisation in Nuremberg. For example, by successfully using our local network,” executive director of guest events and congress Jan Gerrit Ebener explains. “The NürnbergConvention Bureau is the first point of contact for event planners at the destination. It brings the key elements of every event together: organisers, location and service partners. In addition, it offers a vast range of services including consultation-only, providing press images and promo material and liaising with local hotels.”

Three convention centres, unlimited possibilities

The NürnbergConvention Centre contains three different convention centres as well as the Frankenhalle, which is a multi-purpose venue at the heart of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. The NürnbergConvention Centre can host an incredibly wide range of events thanks to these various – yet combinable – venues at its fingertips.

The most compact centre is the NCC West. It’s the ideal location for events with a capacity of 150-500 participants. The 11 rooms and halls on three levels form a generous gallery space around a bright atrium. “Of course, it features the same amenities as the two larger centres: easy subdivision options and counter points at the entrance, event management offices, a press centre and a restaurant,” Ebener adds.

The NCC Mitte is perfect for events of 350-1,500 people. It can be used together with the Frankenhalle and the NCC West. Its 6,000squaremetre entrance area is flooded with light and the futuristic architecture as well as the direct access to the exhibition park add special value. The ten rooms and halls are connected on the same level and feature very generously sized foyer spaces.

The largest centre, with a capacity of 500-2,000 guests, is the NCC Ost, as Ebener elaborates: “This venue offers three levels and a separate event management floor. Aside from the 18 rooms and halls, it includes two restaurants, three lounges, changing rooms, offices, a large press centre, as well as a press conference room. The multi-functional hall ‘Sydney’ can be turned into a gallery space making it highly versatile for catering, general events or exhibitions. The plenary hall ‘Tokyo’ offers space for up to 1,000 people.”

The so-called ‘multi-talent’ among the venues of NürnbergConvention Centre is the hall Frankenhalle. Its plenary capacity of up to 5,000 seats, a stunningly variable architecture, the option to completely black out the light and the separate entrance make it a perfect venue for galas, anniversaries or product presentations.

Professional equipment and exclusivity

All auditoriums and conference rooms at the NCC are fitted with high-quality equipment – including light and sound technology adjusted to the size of each space, as well as a pre-built stage.

Hybrid events can also be hosted with the help of service partners. The required technology is fitted to suit the individual purpose, and a professional studio to record or do live streams is available upon request.

The six entrance areas and the strict systematic separation of visitors and delivery traffic allow for multiple events to run simultaneously. Due to the layout of the NCC and the different entrances, clients also benefit from some exclusivity.

Nuremberg: a vibrant metropolis with historic tradition

The NCC at Nuremberg Exhibition Centre is embedded smoothly into the Bavarian city’s infrastructure with direct access to the main autobahns. It has its own underground train station which gets you to the central station in eight minutes and to the airport within 20 minutes.

Nuremberg is a central, European transport hub, which can be easily reached from almost anywhere across the globe. It is an exciting location for national and international events thanks to its historic Old Town, the Emperor’s Castle and various cultural, sports and music events of European scope.

Zudem bietet es ein großes Angebot an Services, die von reiner Beratung über die Bereitstellung von Bild- und Informationsmaterial bis hin zur Vermittlung von Hotelkontingenten reichen.“

Drei Convention Center, unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten

Das NürnbergConvention Center besteht aus drei verschiedenen Convention Centern, sowie der Frankenhalle, welche eine Multifunktionshalle im Herzen des Messezentrums Nürnberg ist. Dank dieser verschiedenen und doch kombinierbaren Locations kann das NürnbergConvention Center eine unglaublich breite Palette an Veranstaltungen ausrichten.

Das kompakteste Center ist das NCC West. Es ist ideal für Events in einer Größenordnung von 150 bis 500 Personen und bietet auf drei Ebenen 11 Räume und Säle, die sich mit großzügigen Galerieflächen um ein helles Atrium gruppieren. „Selbstverständlich verfügt es über alle Annehmlichkeiten der beiden größeren Center: Counter- und Separierungsanlagen im Eingangsbereich, Veranstalterbüros, Pressecenter und eigenes Restaurant“, fügt Ebener hinzu.

NCC West.

Für Veranstaltungen mit etwa 350 bis 1.500 Personen ist hingegen das NCC Mitte perfekt. Es kann im Verbund mit der Frankenhalle und dem NCC West genutzt werden und bietet eine über 6.000 Quadratmeter große, lichtdurchflutete Eingangshalle. Die moderne Architektur und der direkte Zugang zum Messepark schaffen einen besonderen Vorteil. Die zehn Räume und Säle liegen auf einer Veranstaltungsebene und haben teilweise sehr großzügige Foyerflächen.

Mit Platz für 500 bis 2.000 Besuchern ist das NCC Ost das größte Center, wie Ebener erläutert: „Drei Ebenen sowie eine separate Veranstalterebene bieten, neben 18 Räumen und Sälen, zwei Restaurants, drei Lounges, Umkleiden, Büros, ein großzügiges Pressecenter sowie einen Pressekonferenzraum. Der Multifunktionssaal ‚Sydney‘ kann zu den Galerieflächen hin geöffnet werden und bietet somit breite Möglichkeiten der Nutzung zum Beispiel für Catering, Event oder Ausstellung. Im Plenarsaal ‚Tokio‘ finden gut 1.000 Personen Platz.“

Das sogenannte Multitalent des NürnbergConvention Centers ist die Frankenhalle. Mit einer Plenarkapazität von bis zu 5.000 Plätzen, einer unglaublich variablen Architektur, der Möglichkeit zur kompletten Abdunkelung und dem separaten Eingang ist die Frankenhalle perfekt für Galas, Jubiläen oder Produktpräsentationen.
