What would be the perfect day in Friedrichshafen for the expert? “That would be a relaxed breakfast in the morning with a view of the lake. Then, of course, a visit to one of our museums, such as the Zeppelin Museum. In the afternoon, a pedal boat trip on Lake Constance and an ice cream at the lido. A cycle tour through the orchards is a great way to explore the area.”

And in the evening? “How about a relaxing visit to one of the restaurants on the lakeside promenade or one of our many cultural events, such as the Bodensee Festival.”

And what can MICE guests expect in the city of the Zeppelin? “Well-known venues are the Graf Zeppelin House or the exhibition halls. But there are also more unusual options: an event in the aircraft hangar of the Dornier Museum, on a ship on Lake Constance or in the Zeppelin hangar will certainly be memorable.”

With a varied supporting programme, such as a bakery tour featuring the making of ‘Seelen’, a local pastry, or a guided tour around the castle in historical costume, Friedrichshafen is the perfect event destination.

Friedrichshafen: Juwel am Bodensee

Direkt am Nordufer des Bodensees liegt Friedrichshafen. Die Stadt punktet mit einem vielfältigen Angebot, das sowohl Urlauber als auch MICE-Gäste überzeugt.

„Friedrichshafen verkörpert urbane Tradition und Lebensfreude, Erfindergeist und Technikfaszination. Zudem ist Friedrichshafen der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Tagestrips in die Vierländerregion Bodensee”, beschreibt Marketingmitarbeiterin Maja Niemann.

Wie sieht für die Expertin ein perfekter Urlaubstag in Friedrichshafen aus? „Das wäre morgens ein entspanntes Frühstück mit Blick auf den See. Dann natürlich der Besuch eines unserer Museen, beispielsweise des Zeppelinmuseums. Am Nachmittag dann eine Tretbootfahrt auf dem Bodensee und ein Eis im Strandbad. Bei einer Radtour durch die Obstplantagen läßt sich übrigens ganz toll das Umland erkunden.”

Und abends? „Wie wäre es, den Tag entspannt in einem Restaurant an der Uferpromenade oder bei einer unserer zahlreichen Kulturveranstaltungen wie dem Bodenseefestival ausklingen zu lassen?”

Und was erwartet die MICE-Gäste in der Zeppelinstadt? „Bekannte Veranstaltungsorte sind das Graf-Zeppelin-Haus oder die Messehallen. Es geht aber auch ausgefallener: Eine Veranstaltung im Flugzeughangar des Dornier Museums, auf einem Bodenseeschiff oder im Zeppelinhangar bleibt sicher in Erinnerung.” Mit einem abwechslungsreichen Rahmenprogramm wie einer Backstubenführung mit Seelenbacken oder einer historischen Kostümführung um das Schloss wird Friedrichshafen zur perfekten Eventdestination.
