Frederick Kiesler is known as one of the rare Austrian artists, who bridged the gap between the 20th and 21st century. Today his works are more relevant and influential than ever before. Since 1997 the Austrian Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Private Foundation in Vienna is dedicated to explore the heritage of Austro- American Frederick Kiesler (1890-1965) and integrate it into today’s art scene. Exhibitions and research projects examine Kiesler’s work, its historical impact and its place in contemporary art.
