DAS.GOLDBERG

At 985 metres above sea level, the DAS.GOLDBERG hotel in the Salzburgerland entices with eagle-eye views over the Hohe Tauern national park and inviting offers of wellness experiences. The unique location, right above the Gasteinertal, is one of the hotel’s greatest assets. From here, states co-owner Vera Seer, the 365° panoramic view resembles what she considers a glance at eternity. DAS.GOLDBERG is celebrating its five- year anniversary this July. However, the Seer family have been in the hotel business since 1981, when Katharina and Peter Seer bought the Pyrkerhöhe farm and restaurant and expanded it by 24 rooms. The hotel was eventually taken over by son Georg and his wife Vera, whose great goal of a complete modernisation was realised roughly ten years later.
