ArlBerglife Holiday Resort in the Tyrolean Alps offers up various lodges and apartments. Regardless of whether for a romantic weekend or an active family holiday, ArlBerglife proves to be the right destination. The warm atmosphere and love for detail contribute to its strong sense of wellbeing. Austrian hospitality at its best.

Mountains as far as the eye can see, crystal-clear creeks and fresh air. The area of the well-known Arlberg is a haven. ArlBerglife Holiday Resort is located at the sunny south-side near the town-centre of Pettneu. Originally, ArlBerglife was the farm of the Gröbner family. In 1999, Manuela and Alexander Gröbner turned it into a fabulous campsite. They added a luxurious apartment house and recently built three beautiful chalets, the ‘60square Lodges’. The resort is today still led by Manuela and Alexander, together with their daughter Robina.

“We are a small family business and want to keep it that way, so as not to lose the personal touch,” says Robina. “We believe that in this day and age, there is not enough personal contact. That’s why it’s very important to us to create a personal and comfy atmosphere for our guests.”

Staying connected to the surroundings is also important. “Nature and tradition are our main sources of inspiration,” Robina explains. “Local wood is our preferred material for all our rooms. The interior design and architecture are inspired by our region.”

Thanks to the different types of accommodation, the resort is ideal for various different guests: from romantic couples and active seniors to adventure-loving groups of friends and, of course, families with kids.

The exclusively furnished apartments and studios are between 45 and 103 square metres in size – great for couples, families and larger groups of up to ten people. A fully equipped designer kitchen, panorama windows, floor heating and the terrace, leave no wishes not met.

Three cosy 60-square-metre lodges with modern cabin flair, invite, families of up to five or sporty couples, for example, to relax: in the private Finnish sauna or by the tiled fireplace. For those who long for more adventurous and individual accommodation, the adorable campsite is the perfect option.

The Arlberg is Austria’s biggest ski area and offers a range of leisure activities. “This region is wonderful for Alpine sport enthusiasts, regardless if skiing in winter or hiking in summer,” Robina says. “Miles of pristine ski slopes, untouched deep-snow slopes and the spacious touring area attract freeriders from all over the world.”
