ACHTWERK Events founder, Serdar Vona, comes from a catering background and was looking together with his partner, Timucin Kul, for a permanent location, so they didn’t have to transport their heavy equipment anymore. The former metal workshop at Daimlerstreet turned out to be the perfect space. So, in 2019, Vona renovated it completely before turning it into ACHTWERK.

The impressive, barrier-free clinker brick building measures over ten metres in height at its 40-metre-long glass front, which makes for a vast, light-flooded atmosphere. As a so-called ‘off location’ on 1,500 square metres, including 100 free parking spots and a 500-square-metre terrace, ACHTWERK is the perfect setting if you want to design an event especially to your own heart’s desire. Service and catering are provided directly by ACHTWERK, so there is no need to hire any additional staff, and 80 per cent of the food is, in fact, freshly supplied produce. ACHTWERK’s IHK-certified in-house wedding planner is included for any wedding, and she accompanies the event from start to finish.

“We offer the complete package: location, equipment, furniture, service and catering. In addition, we have 38 service partners providing photography, decoration and so on – so ACHTWERK is able to offer all-inclusive options. However, our clients are not tied to these service providers and can choose freely,” Vona explains. He knows that the most important day in your life should be exactly what you have always dreamed of, which means it needs a tailor-made approach. Hence, the team at ACHTWERK is perfectly prepared for highly individualised events. Therefore, bridal couples can decide everything themselves, such as what furniture should be used. This is an equally appealing aspect for business clients, as it means every corporate event can be customised down to the smallest detail.

Das eindrucksvolle, barrierefreie Gebäude aus Klinkerstein ist an der 40 Meter langen Glasfront über zehn Meter hoch, was zu einer sehr weitläufigen, lichtdurchfluteten Atmosphäre beiträgt. Als ‚Off Location‘ bietet das ACHTWERK auf 1.500 Quadratmetern die optimale Spielwiese, um sich kreativ auszutoben und hat dazu noch 100 kostenfreie Parkplätze sowie eine 500 Quadratmeter große Terrasse. Service und Catering kommen direkt von ACHTWERK, sodass man kein Mietpersonal braucht, und 80 Prozent der Lebensmittel frisch angeliefert werden. Bei Hochzeiten ist ACHTWERKs in-house, IHK-zertifizierte Wedding Planerin, die das Event von Anfang bis Ende begleitet, inklusive.
