Fabulous food festivals, street art and plenty of open-air concerts fill July’s event calendar – perfect for those long summer nights. We are ready to embrace the warm season with open arms.

OTTAKRINGER BREWERY’S BEER FESTIVAL, VIENNA (29 JUNE – 1 SEPTEMBER)

This iconic beer festival celebrates the rich culture of beer with a selection of Ottakringer’s fine brews, guest breweries, live music and delicious street food. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, don’t miss out on unique experiences like beer yoga and fun brewery tours.

CALIENTE! FESTIVAL, ZURICH (30 JUNE – 1 JULY)

Now in its 26th edition, Latin America is at the heart of the vibrant Caliente! Festival in Zurich. This is one of Europe’s largest Latin-themed festivals and offers plenty of amazing food, music and cultural events. A wonderful package.

GURTENFESTIVAL, BERN (12 – 16 JULY)

This fun-packed musical extravaganza is one of Switzerland’s most beloved festivals, once again with an impressive line-up including Deichkind, Die Toten Hosen and Lil Nas X. It takes place in a fairly remote location, which is only reachable via cable car or – if you fancy it – a full-on hike. The unique mountain vibes contribute to the unforgettable event.

BOTANICAL NIGHT AT BOTANICAL GARDEN, BERLIN (14 -15 JULY)

Berlin’s incredibly popular Botanical Garden invites guests to embark on a magical night and explore its stunning grounds. SALZBURG FESTIVAL, SALZBURG (20 JULY – 31 AUGUST)

The famous Salzburg Festival never ceases to raise ever-relevant questions about human existence. This year’s edition is no exception and centres around the Shakespeare quote “The time is out of joint”. It offers a carefully curated selection of opera, drama and concert performances including Verdi’s Macbeth and Falstaff, two operas inspired by Shakespeare.

WIENER CABARET FESTIVAL, VIENNA (24 – 29 JULY)

Need some laughter in your life? You have come to the perfect place. The Vienna Cabaret Festival is a very popular event known for sophisticated comedy in a grand location. Although it’s held in a stunning yard on these breezy summer eves, it is rainproof which makes it even better.

SUMMERTIME, NORDERNEY (26 – 30 JULY)

Held on the beautiful German island of Norderney, the Summertime Festival presents five days of open-air concerts. Here, the typical northern beach vibes meet top acts such as Clueso and Nico Santos in front of a dreamy maritime background. A fun week awaits.

CALLE LIBRE STREET ART FESTIVAL, VIENNA (27 JULY – 05 AUGUST)

Take a stroll along, for example, Vienna’s Danube canal and discover stunning urban artwork. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Calle Libre Festival which will take place for the first time over the duration of 10 days, during which 10 large-scale murals will be created in the 16th district of Vienna. If you ever wondered how the beautiful urban murals are painted, this is the place to be.
