The great-grandchild of the founder speaks about the challenges that come with running and further developing such a traditional family hotel: “On the one hand, such a long tradition carries a big responsibility. For those looking for a culinary adventure, Hotel Deimann has got you covered, too. The gourmet restaurant Hofstube is led by head chef Felix Weber. It was awarded one Michelin star and received 16 points as well as two toques from Gault & Millau in autumn 2019 – the third time in a row. Weber’s purist dishes are prepared directly in front of the guests, too, thanks to the open kitchen: resulting in a true adventure for all the senses. Another highlight is the marvellous breakfast buffet, where everyone will find the perfect dish for them to start the day right.

The hotel also convinces with its location. It’s a great base for various trips in the region. The generously sized park, with two ponds, leads to numerous hiking trails, and from cycling, golfing, lovely walks or visits to the historical centre of Schmallenberg – there is plenty to do all year round.

Die herrliche Parkanlage umfasst heute 96 Zimmer (darunter mehreren Suiten und Juniorsuiten) mit modernster Einrichtung, eine Bibliothek und ein beeindruckendes Spa auf 4.000 Quadratmetern. Drei In- und Outdoorpools und eine ganze Reihe fantastischer Saunen bieten viel Raum zur Erholung. Von der Dampfsauna, der finnischen Sauna, Infrarotsauna, Tecaldarium, Aromabad und der Bio-Sauna bis hin zur Salzsaline, einem Liegestollen, dem Hamam und Rasulbad sowie zwei Naturheilpraxen sowie 22 Behandlungsräumen, lässt Hotel Deimann keine Wünsche offen.

Auch kulinarisch ist man bei Familie Deimann mehr als gut aufgehoben. Das Gourmetrestaurant Hofstube unter der Leitung von Küchenchef Felix Weber wurde mit einem Michelin Stern ausgezeichnet und im Herbst 2019 im dritten Jahr in Folge mit 16 Punkten und zwei Kochmützen von Gault & Millau geehrt. Webers puristische Menüs werden in der offenen Showküche direkt vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet und sind ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Ein weiteres Highlight ist das herrliche Frühstücksbuffet, bei dem für jeden Geschmack das Richtige dabei ist.

Das Hotel ist außerdem der ideale Ausgangsort für viele Ausflüge und Freizeitangebote in der Region. Der großzügige Park mit zwei Teichen ist direkt an Wanderwege angeschlossen. Hier kann man nach Herzens Lust Radfahren, golfen gehen, wandern oder auch die historische Altstadt Schmallenberg besichtigen.
