This describes a tradition where the bride and groom saw a piece of wood together, which symbolically shows what two people can achieve by working together.

Planning a wedding in Switzerland doesn’t mean that you will have to have it in summer, as there’s much to do and plenty to opt for, whatever season you choose. In the spring, summer and autumn, guests can indulge in hiking and walking, while the hotter months in particular pose as the perfect backdrop for swimming in the ice-cold, blue mountain lakes.
